Handlin Piano is a husband and wife team—Cody and Thelma Handlin—serving Bryan, College Station, and the Brazos Valley. Cody, a lifelong pianist, technician, and composer, is joined by his wife Thelma, a retired bilingual schoolteacher with a degree in business management. Thelma brings a wealth of business acumen and organizational skill, creating a fusion of careful organization and creative spark that drives Handlin Piano forward.
We are passionate about music, languages, learning, and being of service in all that we do. Together for more than two decades, we believe in treating every client as we would want to be treated ourselves. Our philosophy is simple: "You are me and I am you—how would I want to be treated as a customer?" If it were our piano, what would we do?
Our business rules are straightforward: be kind, be friendly, be cheerful, and help people make beautiful music. We offer upfront pricing, with no hidden costs or pressure tactics. We want every client to enjoy the process of having their piano tuned or serviced, and are always happy to take the time to discuss pianos, music, and care with our clients.
In addition to our core services, we collaborate with several local engineers to develop innovative piano moving equipment and a next-generation piano tuning app—combining tradition with technology to better serve our community.
